As an award winning interior design firm, Rochford Design Studio has established its niche in the design world through a fusion of experience in high end commercial and luxury residential design. RDS and its associates serve a broad range of clientele, specializing in resort and premier estate homes and villas. With"no signature style" RDS caters to the precise vision of the client. With the belief that each design will be the backdrop from which new experiences are defined, it is our purpose to invent each space as the distinct reflection of the individuals for whom it is created.
Principal Celia Roohford, ASID, attended the University of Rhode Island and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She obtained National Council for Interior Design Qualification Certification in 1991.
As a Professional member os the American Society of Interior Designers, she served on the Carolinas Chapter Board and recieved as dozen awards including ASID Honor and Design Excellence Awards for Hospitality, Single Dwellings, and Symphony Showhouses. The International Business Designers Gold Award for Best Restaurant and International Business Designers Award for Best Project are included, along with the National Association of Home Builders Renaissance Grand Award for Best Detail.
